Jessica Blasik, Ph.D., ABPdN
Graduated from Duquense University in Pittsburgh, PA with a Doctorate in School Psychology in 2011 where her studies and experiences focused in neuropsychology. Dr. Blasik completed an APA accredited internship in neuropsychology as well as a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology with Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She has experience working directly with schools, teachers, parents, and students in an applied setting. Dr. Blasik is licensed psychologist in Virginia and Kentucky, but only practices in Kentucky, and she is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association and Kentucky Psychological Association, and is excited to be the first Kentucky member of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology.
Dr. Blasik primarily sees children ages 3-years through college-age for neuropsychological assessment. Her areas of clinical interest include assessment and treatment of children/adolescents with attentional and executive dysfunction, concussion and traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and developmental delays, as well as the social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties that may co-occur with those disorders.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Blasik currently teaches undergraduates as an adjunct at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She previously taught graduate-level school psychology courses as an adjunct for The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
